DELTA PLANET MALL REACHES 91% EMPLOYMENT IN THE SECOND HALF OF 2020
On the eve of its first birthday, Delta Planet Mall has begun the preparation of the premises for the opening of the new conceptual store of IKEA, which is due to happen in the second half of 2020. When it opens, employment at the mall will reach 91%. The planned IKEA facility will be different from the conventional Swedish brand format, but will be larger than the current Varna order center, which will be replaced by the newly opened store.
In connection with the forthcoming opening, from the beginning of February Delta Planet Mall starts preparation of the sites on the territory of which the IKEA site will be located. Sport Depot, District, Sport Vision and Mat Star will welcome their customers to new locations with updated concepts. The reorganization is in response to the drive to develop the mall and to provide greater diversity for visitors. The Delta Planet Mall team is working on the ambitious goal of reaching 100% occupancy by the end of the year. This would be a tremendous success for a mall for less than two years. The increased demand for retail space after the announcement of the introduction of the new concept of IKEA also contributes to a large extent.
Delta Planet Mall is the largest new shopping center in Bulgaria, with a total built-up area of 110,000 square meters, 40,000 square meters of which covers retail space. It is located on four commercial levels - two of them are ground floor, following the natural displacement of the terrain. The property also has three underground levels, 1,300 parking spaces and many first-class amenities. Its location is strategic - it is located in the area with the highest concentration of new construction in the city and welcomes visitors as they enter Varna.
Delta Planet Mall hosts the largest cinema outside Sofia - Cinema City, which has 12 cinemas and the only 4DX hall in Varna, as well as the new for the seaside capital of the world famous brands Mango, Guess, Desigual, SuperDry, Marc O'Polo , Asics, CCC, Cropp, House, Sinsay, as well as the highest interior attraction in the city - the 12-meter panoramic tower, decorated like a magic tree, runs through all floors of the mall.
